International Coastal Cleanup Saturday, September 17th

Make it to your favorite beach this Saturday, September 17th, for the annual International Coastal Cleanup (ICC). Thousands of people around Washington will gather to clean local beaches and share a positive experience centered around stewardship. All Washington Surfrider chapters have a cleanup they will be involved with ranging from Locust Beach in Bellingham, to locations along the coast. Northwest Straits ICC Cleanup
Locust Beach, Bellingham
1pm-3pm, September 17th

WWU Surfrider Club and the NWS will be at Locust for this year's ICC

 

Seattle/Capitol ICC Cleanup
Schafer Island Beach App, Westport, WA (Twin Harbors State Park)
9am-2pm, September 17th. BBQ lunch for all volunteers

Rain or shin the cleanup will go on!

 

South Sound Chapter
3 Rivers Fire Station at the corner of the turn off to Rialto Beach between Forks and La Push
7am-3pm, September 17th. Event followed by a Salmon Feed and Poetry Read at Tilicum Park in Forks

U of Puget Sound and South Sound members get out of the rain post cleanup.

 

Olympic Peninsula Chapter
Hobuck Beach Resort, Neah Bay
7:30am-11:00am, September 17th. BBQ following cleanup for all volunteers
