Get warmed up for the Clean Water Classic by joining your local chapter at one of the several cleanups happening in coordination with Washington CoastSavers for the September 16th International Coastal Cleanup. Surfrider chapter's have committed to helping with the cleanups and by providing food for volunteers at Hobuck, Westport, and in the La Push area. Contact your local chapter for specifics and carpool options.

Every year Surfrider chapters across the country take part in the International Coastal Cleanup. Here in Washington Surfrider, as a member of Washington CoastSavers, works at 3 locations on the coast for the event. Our Seattle and Capitol chapters cover the Westport area. South Sound chapters supply bags and food for cleanups around the beaches in Olympic National Park and La Push, while our Olympic Peninsula Chapter takes part at Hobuck beach in Neah Bay. If in the Bellingham are the chapter generally hosts a cleanup at Locust Beach. Contact your chapter for details and join us for this annual day which makes for a great excuse to head to the beach!
