The long-running Clean Water Classic surf comp where competitors, volunteers, and spectators from around the Pacific Northwest and beyond converge on Westport, WA is just around the corner, Oct. 7th-9th, with registration now open. We're fired up for another year of surf, evening events, and overall gathering that supports the amazing work being done by chapters in this region.
A big shout-out goes to 10 Barrel Brewing for being this year's title sponsor, helping Surfrider hold this event and also by supporting our chapters. Much of the same remains as in past years with the bulk of details now online at the Clean Water Classic page. This year we will be moving the registration, evening party, silent auction and raffle to the Westport Veterans of Foreign War's complex to support their service and work in the community. Same rules apply with music on hand, a BBQ and brews hosted by 10 Barrel, and all the goods that have made this event a key cornerstone in the PNW.
