This meeting includes further discussion on draft recommendations that will help to shape the marine spatial plan that is currently being drafted. Draft maps will be presented that include data sets collected for this process like fisheries log book data, recreational use data, and shipping routes. The meeting will also focus on the potential for additional seafloor mapping work to be done in collaboration with NOAA, more information can be found in this discussion guide: seafloor mapping discussion guide_021016_v4

Another important part of the meeting will focus on oil transportation and whether that will be included in the plan. There will be opportunities for public comment at the start and end of the meeting, this is a good opportunity to raise issues of concern or seek clarification on various topics.
